Wynwood Welcomes Disco-Themed Outdoor Roller Skating Rink This Fall
This fall, Wynwood is set to host a new retro-inspired attraction: a disco-themed outdoor roller skating rink, offering Miamians a vibrant way to enjoy one of the city’s favorite pastimes.
Starting Thursday, September 12, the Wynwood Skate rink will open its doors, inviting skaters of all ages and skill levels to lace up their skates and hit the floor. Located in the heart of Miami's bustling arts district, this pop-up rink promises a nostalgic experience with its 1970s disco club vibe. The large outdoor rink, featuring a colorful checkerboard pattern, is situated at the back of Wynwood Marketplace, right next to the Sip & Pickle pickleball courts. Surrounding the rink, you'll find street art-adorned shipping containers and cozy cabana lounges for relaxing between skate sessions.
Wynwood Skate offers a full experience beyond just skating. As part of the Wynwood Marketplace, visitors can enjoy a variety of food and drink options, shop from local vendors, or engage in other activities like ping pong. DJs will be spinning tunes to keep the energy high, and large screens will be available for watching sports games.
Tickets for Wynwood Skate are priced between $25 and $30, depending on the time slot, and include 60 minutes of skating and rental skates. The rink will be open Thursdays from 5 to 10 pm, Fridays from 4 to 10 pm, Saturdays from 1 to 10 pm, and Sundays from 1 to 8 pm. Don’t miss out—this pop-up roller skating experience wraps up on November 1.
