Club Space Reopens After Summer Renovations, Preserving Miami’s Iconic Nightlife

After a brief summer closure, Miami’s legendary Club Space, along with its sister venues, The Ground and Floyd, is back in action starting Thursday, September 19. Many feared the venue’s closure for emergency exit upgrades might be permanent, but Space has proven those rumors wrong, swiftly completing renovations despite the usual bureaucratic hurdles.

The major change Club Space veterans will notice is that the iconic staircases, including the one leading to the terrace, now descend onto NE 11th Street instead of the former alleyway, which will disappear due to ongoing construction in the area. The Ground and Floyd have also undergone extensive renovations, with The Ground eliminating VIP spaces to make room for a larger dance floor and a rebranding that highlights underground genres like drum ‘n’ bass and electro.

Floyd’s redesign includes a new bar and an expanded dance floor, ensuring more space for partygoers. Despite the challenges of Miami’s nightlife scene, Club Space has remained a fixture since 2000, with a long history that now sees a new generation of clubbers enjoying its legendary marathon sets.
