Miami Beach has welcomed a new restaurant that promises to deliver a bold blend of Asian and Mediterranean flavors with an unforgettable ambiance. Mona Lisa, co-founded by Adel Bourkia, Byram Zaied, Gildas Mellot, and Alexandre Bastin, has opened its doors on Washington Avenue, aiming to become a culinary and nightlife destination in the city.

Throughout the evening, guests are treated to a menu focused on artistic presentation and a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean cuisine, all crafted by chef Benjamin Goldman, known for his work at celebrated venues like Komodo and Seaspice. The culinary experience doesn't end with dinner; as the night unfolds, Mona Lisa transitions into a dynamic nightclub.

"Our vision for Mona Lisa is to create a space where culinary traditions from Asia and the Mediterranean meet, intertwining vibrant flavors with the warmth of shared culture," says Bourkia. "As the night deepens, we transform into a dynamic lounge, offering an immersive, sensory experience that blends global house rhythms with a unique gastronomic journey. It's more than a restaurant; it's an evolving space where art, culture, and music harmonize to celebrate diversity and connection."

The menu at Mona Lisa highlights innovative dishes like the sticky short rib, crisp lobster, and a show-stopping Caviar Bomba, which offers an interactive tableside ritual featuring caviar served with a pearl spoon, followed by a tequila shot. Guests can also enjoy an impressive drinks menu, including the signature Da Vinci Code cocktail, made with a blend of three Japanese whiskeys, and an exclusive collection of rare Clase Azul bottles and limited-edition tequilas aged in whiskey barrels.

The restaurant's design is just as creative as its cuisine. Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, the space includes an artificial rock formation mimicking the mountains in the Mona Lisa portrait, Verde Alpi marble countertops, and intricate gold "crackle" patterns on the floors that represent the cracks in the original painting.

For those seeking a blend of culinary innovation and nightlife, Mona Lisa is the newest go-to spot in Miami Beach.
