La Ferneteria Rooftop Brings a Taste of Italy to Wynwood’s Skyline
Miami’s Italian dining scene continues to thrive with the arrival of La Ferneteria, opening December 4th in Wynwood. Originally from Buenos Aires, La Ferneteria has become a staple in Argentina’s vibrant Palermo and Recoleta districts, and now, for its fourth location, it brings a rooftop dining experience to Miami just in time for Art Week.
Located nine stories above Wynwood, La Ferneteria’s Roman Empire-inspired space spans 7,000 square feet, with an open-air terrace and a sweeping 180-seat dining area, offering views and ambiance that match the menu’s rich Italian flavors. “We are thrilled to introduce La Ferneteria to Miami,” shared Diego Diaz Varela, owner of La Ferneteria. “Our goal is to provide an unforgettable dining experience that blends the authenticity of classic Italian cuisine with Miami's vibrant flair.”
Guests can look forward to Italian dishes that blend tradition with creativity, including handmade La Monferrina pasta, a ten-layer lasagna, Fettuccine al Tartufo Nero, Tagliolini Frutti di Mare, and NY Steak "Au Poivre." A selection of signature and classic cocktails and a curated fernet list complete the experience, celebrating Italy’s and Argentina’s shared love for this iconic digestif.
Accessed by a private elevator, the ninth-floor location at 230 NW 24th Street offers seating options ranging from a grand 20-seat marble bar to an intimate speakeasy lounge and a private dining room for 15. To enhance the experience, the rooftop will host a rotation of entertainment, including local and international DJs.
La Ferneteria Rooftop Bar & Eatery opens Wednesday and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., Thursday until 2 a.m., and Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. Weekend brunch service begins December 7, available Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more details, visit www.laferneteria.com.
